Hello everyone! Meet Cookie! She is the absolute sweetest, most affectionate girl--great with people!
Cookie was rescued from the streets of Philadelphia where she was about to fall into the hands of some very bad people. She was Heartworm positive and underwent months-long treatment for that, which has concluded. She is healthy now and totally cleared of heart worms!
Cookie is dog selective, which means that she likes some dogs and not others--just like humans like some other humans and not others. Nothing wrong with that! Because Cookie is dog selective, a meet and greet with any resident dog(s) is essential. Cookie would prefer a home without cats.
Cookie is terrified of the outdoors, so she has been trained to go to the bathroom on pee pads. She is great at doing this! She would be perfect for someone with limited mobility or who lives in an apartment. We don't know if Cookie will ever overcome her fear of the outdoors, but we do know that she is the SWEETEST, most affectionate dog around! Cookie would love to join your family and be your very own cuddle buddy!
Cookie comes with FREE life-time training support with CPAA's professional trainer, so only adopters within a 40 mile radius of Harrisburg will be considered.
