WoofStock emcee, Art Selby, Producer at WHP 580

Art Selby has been with WHP 580 since 1995. He is currently the Assistant Program Director for WHP 580 and Fox Sports 1460, the former producer of the Ken Matthews Show, and was the producer for Bob Durgin for many years. In the fall, you can hear Art announce Bishop McDevitt High School football games on WHP 580 and Fox Sports 1460. 

Art graduated from Littlestown High School in 1990 and received his communications degree from Mansfield University in 1994. Art and his wife, Becky, live on a farm near Halifax. While they don’t have any human children, they have enough animal kids to open their own zoo. Art just might be the biggest animal lover and sports fan you’ll ever meet!

Dog Lure Course

In the grassy area by the Civic Club. Each run is $20. The lure course is sponsored by Christopher Darhower from Off Leash K9 Training. From 11 am to 5 pm.

Low Cost Vaccine & Microchipping Clinic

Noon to 4 p.m., St Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral Courtyard, 221 N. Front Street. Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines will be offered for $10 each. Microchipping is $25, which includes the registration fee. Cash or credit card only.  No checks will be accepted. 

This clinic is made possible thanks to Lambs Gap Animal Hospital, Mechanicsburg. 

Pet Costume Contest

The Pet Costume Contest will be hosted by Nancy Ryan, co-host of the morning show at Froggy Valley 100.1, WFVY Lebanon, PA. In addition to her role at Froggy Valley, you’ll often see Nancy on television promoting local businesses and hear her familiar voice on radio commercials. Nancy is a huge supporter of CPAA, and has adopted two rescued dogs from CPAA, Murphy in 2013 and David in 2025. 

The Pet Costume Contest will held at 3 pm at Kunkel Plaza. The registration fee is $20. Registration forms will be available at the Kunkel Plaza Welcome Booth. Cash only. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners!

Message Therapy

For a donation to CPAA, students from the HACC Massage Therapy School will be giving chair massages throughout the day in the RED section of WoofStock, immediately to the left of Kunkel Plaza, 11 a.m to 5 p.m.
