Hello everyone! Meet Gracie! She is a VERY sweet, people-friendly mixed breed, less than a year old.
Gracie was rescued from a domestic abuse situation where the boyfriend would likely have killed her had CPAA not rescued her. Although Gracie is VERY people friendly, she needs to meet you slowly the first time to make sure you are okay. This is understandable given her past life.
Gracie’s foster parents have been great with training her. She is almost housebroken and knows basic commands. Gracie is dog selective, which means that she likes some dogs and not others–just like humans like some other humans and not others. Nothing wrong with that! Because Gracie is dog selective, a meet and greet with any resident dog(s) is essential. Gracie seems to like dogs that are smaller than she is. Gracie has not been cat tested, but she seems to want to chase outdoor cats.
CPAA will only consider adopters within a 40 mile radius from the Harrisburg area. Hope you will consider this super sweet girl!
