Ellie Mae is an approximately 1 year old terrier mix, around 28lbs. She's got boss girl energy and loves everyone she meets! She's great with other dogs, although she can come on a little strong at first. She previously lived in a foster home with other dogs, cats, and regularly went on adventures where we encountered lots of people, from babies to seniors and did well with all of them. We do know that she doesn't want to share her food bowl, bones, or stuffed Kongs with other dogs, but will happily relax in her crate until she's finished them.
Ellie Mae is sponsored by Furry Friends Network, Kennel License #5011 and her adoption fee is $425.

This week Ellie went out for a walk and she did VERY well around other people… I would say a little shy, but good. Now she’s starting to dig up holes and sniffing…don’t know why, but she does!
As of the past couple days, she is learning how to catch her treats. To be honest, she’s getting better by the day! We’re still trying with heel, but she’s a bundle of energy so we are working on it little by little. Nothing is keeping her from being adopted!

This week Ellie Mae was introduced to Shamrock, but it’s too early for them to try and play around. She also met someone from the kitchen, who seems really interested in Ellie. He said he would get in contact. Everything else is still the same. She learns more day by day. I’m still working on commands, but she already knows sit, off, paw, kiss, loadup, stay, and let’s go!
I’m trying to have her walk with me and train her with the leash. That’s my struggle – other than that, nothing is keeping her from being adopted!

This week Ellie played with all the dogs. She also had a playing threesome with Booker and Phoebe! She’s a GREAT dog. She sits on my lap every morning while I’m drinking coffee – and YES, she likes to explore when you’re not watching, LOL.
So far I have showed her a couple new things. I am happy on how fast she learns her stuff – paw, loadup, lap, stay, kiss, off. Still working on a couple things, like heel and leash training. Other than that – she’s good!

Ellie Mae is a bundle of JOY! She played outside with Hailey, and also ran with Dina and Booker. So far she is doing well. I haven’t had any issues with her. She’s getting along with all the dogs.
As of this week Ellie Mae has learned a couple of new commands, such as kiss, paw, load up, off, and stay. So far there’s nothing that is keeping her from being adopted. She is very smart and learns quickly. My only struggle is (and I’m working on it) leash walking. She likes pulling a lot!
Her behavior is awesome – I have no doubt about it! And her health is great…she’s energetic and fun!

Ellie Mae joined the HOPE Program this week and we look forward to watching her learn all the things that will help her become the best family companion you could ask for!
