Melo is one of the sweetest seniors ever! Just like his name, Mellow is mellow! He is very affectionate and loving and would love to be a couch potato in your home!
His eyes will captivate you. He looks as if he is saying, “are you the one who will give me a foster or forever home?”
Melo is 10 years young and in good health. He does not do well with other dogs, cats, or small pets, like chinchillas. His best home would be without children. Because of this, it has been difficult to find him a foster or forever home. He is currently residing in a kennel, which is no place for a dog, let alone a senior sweetheart like Melo.
We are looking for a no other pet household that would be wiling to open their home and heart to foster or adopt Melo.
Because Melo has been in a kennel for so long, he will need a VERY patient home that is willing to work with our trainer to help him adjust. This will not happen overnight, so we need sometime with the time and patience to make him feel comfortable and safe.
CPAA will pay for all supplies, vet care, and training for anyone willing to foster this dear boy. For any adopter, CPAA will provide free, lifetime training support for Melo.
Can you give Melo his happily ever after? Only adopters within a 40 mile radius from Harrisburg will be considered.
